As a pro soundman, I can recommend Impact Web Audio as a truly simple to use piece of software that embeds a Flash audio player into web pages in literally seconds. The writer’s site is a bit overpowering with full on US style ‘marketing’, but the kit does what it says it does.

Use a pre-saved audio file (.mp3 or .wav) or use the built in Voice Recorder (with background music loop) to demonstrate your audio clips. A variety of bit and sample rates allow you to select your desired level of quality.
